Andrea’s Cookies

A retail build-out on Ossington Avenue for Andrea’s Cookies, designed by Studio AC. The design is a single confident move — a curved, saturated pink interior that wraps counter, shelving and ceiling into one continuous surface — and the build lives or dies on how cleanly that curve is executed.

Curved work punishes approximation. The radii were set out full-scale, the substrates faired until the surface read as one gesture, and the paintwork finished to the standard the colour demands — a monochrome interior gives a bad seam no place to hide.

We build for design-led architects wherever their work takes them; most of our projects are houses, and the occasional storefront gets the same set of hands and the same reading of the drawings.
