Wall Art Print - Rural Ontario Series - Intersection
Living in Millbrook has made me realize how to appreciate the little things in the Ontario countryside. Seeing how farmers fed the cities and generations of their families keeping up with those traditions has given me a better understanding of an important part of Canadian culture.
As a designer with a decade-long background who has ended up continuing to pursue my passion in Canada for the past few years, I love the fact that when Canadians think about Bobcaygeon, the second thing they think about is the word “constellations”, and how words like these are embedded in our culture.
I tried to focus on things like this and what I saw as important, and reflect what I saw into illustrations and photos.
I wanted to pay tribute to the everyday, the ordinary things in life. The stillness, the struggles of everyone who continues to contribute to the Canadian experience day after day.
